To help the client achieve a refresh without sacrificing character, we partnered with Juniper Architecture to create a space that significantly increased functionality while letting in more natural light.
To add depth to the kitchen, the area utilized two complementary materials: oak paneling on the peninsula’s outward-facing elevation added warmth, while the interior elevation featured laminate to enhance the kitchen’s clean lines. Integrated pulls added to the minimalism of the area, while exposed edges and touches of oak throughout the broader space created material cohesion.
The result is a timeless space that reflects the homeowners’ design ethos, and a kitchen with durability at its core.
