This custom storage piece was designed for interior designer Susie Novak’s Oakland studio. The goal was to organize samples, material collections, and office supplies in a way that felt simple and intentional. A large credenza was built using walnut and painted finishes, with touch latch hardware to keep the fronts clean and uninterrupted. The walnut grain runs continuously across the cabinet faces, adding warmth and quiet texture to the space. The result is a practical storage solution that fits seamlessly into the studio environment. It serves as both a working library and a focal point that reflects the firm’s approach to thoughtful, well made interiors.
